  • Great TV, but...

Excellent TV! Still working on breaking the panel in to harden the pixels (will do 100-150 hours or so) before I get a calibration done- should really bring this to life then.Only issue noticed so far is maybe the ABL (Automatic Brightness Limiter) kicking in when watching hockey with its white backgrounds. About a couple/few times a minute the screen will get instantly and noticeably brighter and slowly fade darker until the next jump back up in brightness. Fiirmware updated to the latest, and hopefully a future patch will take care of this issue.I only notice this so far with hockey, everything else looks great with good contrast, brightness, and inky blacks. Can't go wrong with this panel!
  • AWESOME!!!

  • Wow!

I bought this as my first "fancy" tv purchase, upgrading from an older 47" hand-me-down plasma, and immediately regretted spending that kind of dough on a TV. However, the pre-search I had done showed I did get an excellent price in comparison to other related models. Once I got it home, all regrets disappeared. Set up was super easy, mounting to my stand was easier than using the stand that comes with it. Set up with the internet was a breeze - I run my wi-fi through my cell phone.Hands down, super easy to set up, super easy to configure and was watching the set within 15 min of getting it out of the box. I cannot BELIEVE how great the picture looks in my living room. Colors are all crisp, clear and fabulous. We set it up and put on Dr. Who streaming through the cell phone from Netflicks via the units onboard out of the box capabilities. Phenomenal. I can't say enough about it. I have visual impairments that make most tv viewing blah, don't see colors quite right and don't see well in general. This is the first time I haven?t been perched on the edge of my seat of see the fine details. My son said "I can even see the zit on his nose!"Hands down, awesome. :) I'm frugal and don't generally splurge on non-essential items unless it is for outdoor recreation. Totally pleased with this purchase.
  • bright room

This tv is good but don't buy if you have a bright room with lots of big windows. The picture look dull in a bright room.
  • Terrific

The TV looks great and works very well with my receiver and home theater. Mounting on the ceiling mount was straight forward. Set up and use seem fairly easy. Everyone is very happy with the performance of the TV.
  • Great T.V. for the price!!!

Just got this installed today. Picture is clean and crisp. The sound is way better than I expected from a thin screen plasma. Connecting to the internet was a bit of a pain but, I think that was my problem not the T.V. Can't wait to watch the World Series and some football on this! Still experimenting with some settings, however, overall I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase.
  • Outclasses current competition

This TV is beautiful and well priced. Blacks are black. Picture is clear and motion is excellent.Great picture out of the box using the Cinema preset; Superb picture with advanced settings found on CNET forums.Sound is very good compared to other flat panels. The quality for price is unbeatable... a set that looks this good can easily cost 2 - 3 times more. Oh, and the anti-image retention technology is great!*note: I have not used the 3D capabilities thus far but both SD and HD signals look great and games are crisp.
  • Does not support 50Hz PAL formats

My old 11 years old Pansonic Plasma died. So I just got this new plasma and it is with extreme disappointment that I discovered that this TV does not support PAL 50Hz 576i format. Not mentioned in the specs anywhere...Come on Panasonic, how come this was supported 11 years ago and not in 2012?
